A phone running out of battery can interrupt a day in the city. You may need it to find your way, contact a friend, pay for something, or capture a moment. That everyday problem inspired ChargeNChill, our power bank rental service in Cagliari.
We began by placing charging stations in locations where people already spend time. At first, many customers had never used a power bank rental station. They needed to notice it, understand how it worked, and feel comfortable trying it. Growing the service has taken patience, helpful local partners, and feedback from the people who use it.
The order trend shows how far we have come. We recorded 27 orders in April, 98 in July, and a record 160 in August. By 28 September, we had already received 153 orders for the month. Each rental is a sign that convenient charging is becoming part of daily life in and around Cagliari.
Today, 12 ChargeNChill stations are live. Customers can rent a power bank when their phone needs a boost and continue with their plans instead of searching for a socket.
Our next goal is ambitious: to expand the ChargeNChill network across Sardinia by mid-2027. We want convenient phone charging to be available in more cafés, restaurants, hotels, and other places people visit.

Restare senza batteria può interrompere una giornata fuori casa. Il telefono serve per orientarsi, contattare qualcuno, pagare o conservare un ricordo. Da questa esigenza quotidiana è nata ChargeNChill, la nostra attività di noleggio power bank a Cagliari.
Abbiamo iniziato installando le stazioni nei luoghi frequentati dalle persone. All’inizio, per molti clienti il noleggio di un power bank era una novità: dovevano scoprire la stazione, capire come funzionava e provare il servizio. La crescita è arrivata passo dopo passo, grazie alla collaborazione con le attività locali e ai suggerimenti di chi ha utilizzato ChargeNChill.
I dati raccontano questo percorso. Abbiamo registrato 27 noleggi ad aprile, 98 a luglio e un record di 160 ad agosto. Al 28 settembre, i noleggi del mese erano già 153. Dietro ogni ordine c’è una persona che ha trovato un modo pratico per continuare la propria giornata con il telefono carico.
Oggi sono attive 12 stazioni ChargeNChill. Chi ha bisogno di energia può noleggiare un power bank e proseguire i propri programmi, senza dover cercare una presa di corrente.
Il nostro prossimo obiettivo è espandere la rete ChargeNChill in tutta la Sardegna entro metà 2027. Vogliamo portare una soluzione di ricarica comoda in più bar, ristoranti, hotel e luoghi di passaggio.
